The NLW Website
should be your first port of call. This gives information on all aspects of the Library.
If you intend to visit the Library in person the Visit Us
section should be consulted for details relating to opening hours, how to obtain a reader’s ticket and much more.
The next step would be to prepare for a visit by organising your information and checking that the information you require is held at the Library and is available for consultation. If you are unsure of any information, contact a member of the Enquiries Team
for further information.
If you are visiting for the first time it may be worth considering visiting on a Wednesday as various Information Sessions
are held throughout the day to learn about the Library’s collections and to make the best use of your time and the facilities at the Library.
Four sessions are offered at present:
• Welcome Session
• Family and Local History
• Maps, Photos and Property History
• Electronic Resources
You can book a place at a session through the website
